Dr Jill Westwood, featured in the 2023 Women In Revolt at Tate Britain/ BFI, a pioneer of industrial noise-performance with Fistfuck (81-84), and a collaborator with Christine Binnie, Alex Binnie, Antal Nemeth, and Val Denham. Influential in art psychotherapy, she has led programs at Western Sydney University (1995-2007) and Goldsmiths University, London (2009-2020). Throughout her work Westwood explores taboos and confronts personal notions of power and aggression fostering transformative processes towards deepening understanding of human struggles. For SUFF she will be screening a retrospective of works, performing, and doing a post screening Q&A with Dr Jack Sargeant.
