Dendy Cinemas is proud to partner with the Inner West Film
Festival for its 3rd edition, returning to Newtown April 9-17!
Sydney’s Inner West is packed-to-bursting with creative energy,
alive with cultural electricity thanks to its artisan population and
multi-cultural community. Tapping into the values of the area, The Inner West
Film Fest boasts a diverse, inclusive, and utterly fascinating selection of
film premieres from Australia and abroad.
Opening the festival is the
Australian premiere of Flat Girls, a tender Thai GL romantic drama, and closing
is the World Premiere of Moonrise Over Knights Hill by Australian director
James Robert Woods. The program features thought-provoking and impactful
documentaries like Future Council by Damon Gameau, award-winning epics such as
Who by Fire (Philippe Lesage), Universal Language (Matthew Rankin), and An
Unfinished Film (Lou Ye). Don’t miss classics like The Gleaners & I (35mm).
