Robert Redford Retrospective
Wednesday, October 8 – Sunday, October 12
The American heart-throb of the 1970's, Robert Redford starred in some of Hollywood's most revered films and his activism and support of the arts has persevered to this day.
His iconic role in 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' led him to pick up the famous Sundance Kid moniker, and eventually lead to the establishment and rise of the Sundance Film Festival in 1978, held in Redford's own Sundance Resort in Utah.
Alongside his environmental activism, support of Native American and Indigenous rights, and open support towards the LGBTQ+ community, Robert Redford is remembered as a pioneer for Hollywood's second golden age, a passionate worker and a loved public figure.
"The legendary actor and Sundance founder was famously late for everything - but always ahead of his time" - The Hollywood Reporter
