From September 11–14, join us for four nights of fearless, filthy, and fiercely independent filmmaking from around the globe.

Kicking things off with Queens of the Dead by Tina Romero - a gloriously unholy drag-zom-com that sets the tone for a festival steeped in excess, rebellion, and radical joy. And closing with the Australian Premiere of Fucktoys by Annapurna Sriram - a lush, searing 16mm feminist knockout that demands your full attention.

In between? Buckle up! 

We’ve got The Whole Truth and Nothing Butt, the Butthole Surfers doc that’s as chaotic as the band itself. A one-off interactive screening of UHF, complete with custom STINK-O-VISION cards! Bring a bud and see Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie on the big screen where it belongs. The unmissable, razor-sharp and timely doc Coexistence, My Ass! following Israeli comedian Noam Shuster-Eliassi. And don your skates for a trippy revival of Xanadu like you’ve never seen it.

We’re also proud to spotlight a bold crop of Aussie indies: Skeleton Girls, A Kidnapped City, Snatchers, and Yellow House Afghanistan and Stelarc: Suspending Disbelief. Plus more celluloid chaos shot on film with the brain-frazzling I Live Here Now, Jimmy and Stiggs and the wild ride that is Anything That Moves.

And that’s only half of it.

The short films are wild. The vibes are unhinged. And the only rule? Expect the unexpected.
